The Careers Department is located in school at the end of the Drama Corridor. In addition, there is a dedicated careers library and careers noticeboards around the school site.
These web pages give both students and parents comprehensive information, advice and guidance on career choices with links to useful websites. Linked to this page, there are further individual pages with more detailed information for each Key Stage. There are also further resources available to students on the careers pages on Myvle, including access to information databases.

Lady Manners School Careers Department
Mr SA Pacey, Head of Careers & Employability, is the Careers Leader at Lady Manners School. He is a qualified Careers Adviser and holds the Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance. He is a registered Career Development Professional with the Careers Development Institute (CDI) and is listed on their professional register. He holds accredited Careers Leadership and Careers Education qualifications and is a professional mentor for the CDI. Mr Pacey is bound by the CDI code of ethics to promote impartial careers guidance.
The Careers Department is supported by an enterprise adviser, and a governor linked to the Careers Department.

How is career learning delivered, accessed and the impact measured in school?
Careers programmes and entitlements for Lower School (Key Stage 3), Upper School (Key Stage 4) and Sixth Form can be accessed from the 'Careers - Year 7,8,9', 'Careers - Years 10 & 11' and 'Careers - Years 12 & 13' pages on this website. Within each entitlement statement, there is a section which details how the programme is measured and evaluated.
The careers programme is mapped against the CDI Learning Outcomes Framework. Lady Manners School is committed to attaining the Quality in Careers Standard.
Aspects of career learning are also incorporated into individual curriculum areas throughout the school.
Education and training provider access to Lady Manners School students
We are very proud of the achievements of our students throughout the school. We are also aware that students access opportunities beyond Lady Manners School. Providing independent and impartial advice and guidance means we are committed to supporting all student pathways.
Education and Training Providers will be invited to appropriate school based careers events and a list of such events, together with the school’s access policy, can be found in the 'Career Events Timetable for 2019-20' .

There are individual Myvle pages for Lower School, Upper School and Sixth Form. Students will need to enter their school username and password to access their Myvle careers pages.
